Fall Frolic is Finished from Pointless Quilter

It's been a while since I have posted.  Sorry about that.  Life does seem to get in the way of doing things that need to be done. 

I did have a quilt finish.  I finally finished the Bonnie Hunter (Quiltville) 2019/2020 Mystery quilt.  I didn't do a lot of fancy quilting.  It was so busy that it wouldn't have shown anyway and I'm getting to the point that getting it done is better than letting it sit there.  I did do some fall leaf design in the border though.

A Couple of Finishes and some WIPS from Pointless Quilter

But I will never admit to all the haul I've been purchasing lately.  Could be where I'm getting comfort from whilst stuck at home (except on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I have to go to work--teleworking on Mon-Wed-Fri). 

But I did finish my Summer Swoon quilt.  This fabric was bought several years ago during a late night Party Party Party that the now closed local quilt shop had. 


Pretty subtle summer colors but it has lemons and ginghams and a little brighter in real life  It will be perfect for my summer bed spread.

2020 Goals and projects from Pointless Quilter

So for 2020 our friendship group is having a similar WIP challenge as a popular quilt magazine.  You list 10 items on your WIPs list and assign a month to it.  Your goal is to at least work on that quilt during that month.  You don't have to finish the quilt - just make some progress.  We also have a second challenge to use a ruler, template or tool that you bought and have never used and to include text somehow. 

Here is my quilt list for 2020.  a
